Another milestone achieved

The Association of Ductwork Contractors and Allied Services (ADCAS) have recently celebrated their 20th year as the independent voice for the HVAC Industry.

Formed in 1997 by a group of leading ductwork contractors, the industry needed an independent unified voice. The formation of the organisation proved successful to both contractors and allied industry service suppliers alike.

The ADCAS aims still remain the same as they did 20 years ago. ADCAS has always supported higher standards through membership education whilst keeping an eye on current industry legislation and any technical advances. The promotion of better specifications, design and the installation of ductwork. Working with other allied services such as B&ES, BSRIA, Feta and many others promoting the interests of the membership. Whilst also trying to influence current Building Regulations such as ‘Part L’ and others, ensuring the correct representation of ductwork.

ADCAS hold regular meetings and events to highlight any important issues that they feel the membership need to understand within their own businesses. This in turn enables companies large and small to discuss their shared interests. As part of the membership Doby Verrolec would like to congratulate ADCAS on reaching this important milestone.
