DobyGrip - Extending the range27 October 2016 | Admin
Another great accessory Doby Verrolec have again been extending the accessory range of the DobyGrip Wire Suspension System with the inclusion of the popular Nail Anchor FNA II-OE. The hammerset anchor fixing gives installers the peace of mind where safety is involved as the Nail Anchor can be fixed securely into a variety of different substrates. Cracked and non-cracked concrete, structures made of solid sand-lime brick, natural stone, metal structures and pre-stressed hollow-core concrete slabs are a few of the growing list of substrates it can be used with. The perfect solution for suspending static loads, such as air-conditioning systems, pipework, ductwork, electrical containment, lighting and signage. The time-saving hammerset installation is simplicity itself with the installer drilling a single 6mm diameter hole to an extremely short anchor depth of only 30mm. Tapping the Nail Anchor into the hole spreads the cone at the tip, filling the void, anchoring the accessory firmly in place. 1. Drill a 6mm Ø hole into substrate to a depth of 30mm. 2. Tap the anchor into place, keeping cable to one side. 3. Safe Working Load (SWL) 50kg (110lbs) when used with a DobyGrip size 2 (DG2).
The ETA approved Anchor is manufactured from zinc-plated steel with approved use in C12/15 and C50/60 concrete. When used with the DobyGrip size 2 it is safe working with loads of up to 50kg with a safety factor of 5:1. Supplied either attached to galvanised loop ended wires or without wires, this ingenious accessory will ensure fast trouble-free installations time after time. Malcolm Moss, Managing Director of Doby Verrolec, says: “This is a very popular product for installers using a Wire Suspension System and by adding it to our product range we are able to offer a solution for a wide variety of static loads.” |
