Apprentice Achievement

As a manufacturing company the continual training of skilled staff is very important for us. So like many other companies we invest in an Apprentice Training Scheme. One of our rising stars within the scheme is 20 year old Matthew Dixon.

In conjunction with Derwentside College who hold a yearly personal achievement award, apprentices who study with them on day release are nominated based on their individual performance and or achievements. Matthew was nominated by Doby Verrolec, due to his involvement within the company and that of the college. He played a major role in the initial setting up and subsequent training on the new CNC 4 Axis Machining Centre Cell (Tormach) we have here at Doby Verrolec. This involved set-up, commission, programme training to full production release.

We would like to take the time to congratulate him on his outstanding achievement and hope he continues to go from strength to strength – well done Matthew.
