The DobyGrip Size 6
The largest DobyGrip in the DobyGrip Wire Suspension Range range of 7 units is the DG6. This incredible unit is capable of holding a static load up to 500Kg (1100lbs) with a 6mm (1/4") wire. It’s unique patented design enables the DobyGrip 6 to safely hold the more demanding of loads where stability is crucial. DobyGrip sizes 1 through to 3 have a 5:1 safety factor, DobyGrips 4 through to 6 have a 3:1 safety factor. All are Independently tested and witnessed giving you the piece of mind where safety is involved. Safe working loads, seismic testing and life cycle tests have all been undertaken with the utmost care. As with the DG4-5, this larger DG6 design has been modified. This modification in layout enables a greater strength when handling the larger gauge wires. The principle remains the same and of course the functionality does too. Both solutions still enable the installer the freedom of adjustment which has become one of the reasons the DobyGrip Wire Suspension system has gained so much popularity.
The DobyGrip 6 is the perfect solution for all your catenary needs given its ability with load capacity. Constructed from a zinc cast body (Zamac) which minimises corrosion with stainless steel and solid steel internal components, the DG6 is a force to be reckoned with as strength is never an issue.

DobyGrip size 6 locker unit has a width of 50mm, length of 46mm, height of 15mm with a weight of 141 grams. The locker unit comes packed in bags of 5 with an order code of DG6. All ratings were determined by independent testing and witnessing.
